DNA replication is the biological process of producing two identical replicas of DNA from one original DNA molecule. DNA replication is the process by which DNA makes a copy of itself during cell division; before a cell can reproduce it must first replicate or make a copy of its DNA.
In Genesis 1:11–12 God said that the fruit trees whose seed is in itself should yield fruit after its kind. Genesis 1:21–22 speaks of great whales, and every living creature in the sea, and winged fowl bring forth also after his kind. In Genesis 1:24–25, cattle, creeping things and beasts should also be after his kind. And finally, God said, let Us make man in Our image, after Our likeness. So, “God created man in His own image, in the image of God created He him; male and female created He them.” Genesis 1:27–28
In Genesis 6:1–2 we are called sons and daughters of God. “He shall cry unto Me, Thou art my Father, my God and the rock of my salvation.” Psalm 89:26
“Doubtless Thou art our Father, . . . Thou, O LORD, art our Father.” Isaiah 63:16. “And He said unto them, When ye pray, say, Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be Thy name.” Luke 11:2
By creation and redemption we all should be children of God; but, sad to say, many have chosen not to accept the Creator as their rightful Father and have chosen instead to have another father, the devil. “Then Saul, (who also is called Paul,) filled with the Holy Ghost, set his eyes on him, And said, O full of all subtilty and all mischief, thou child of the devil, thou enemy of all righteousness.” Acts 13:9–10. “I speak that which I have seen with My Father: and ye do that which ye have seen with your father. . . . Ye are of your father the devil.” John 8:38–44
But how did this change come about? When God made man He gave him instruction, “And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it.” Genesis 2:16–17. This instruction was given by our heavenly Father and should have been obeyed; but, sad to say, the opposite happened. “She took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.” Genesis 3:6
Not only Adam and Eve, but “He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning.” 1 John 3:8. However, although humanity fell into sin, the Lord promises us a rebirth. “Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.” John 3:7
When we are born of God, we will not sin. “Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for His seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.” 1 John 3:9. When this change takes place, then we can overcome every sin; and in so doing we once more become sons of God. “Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God.” 1 John 3:1–2. And we shall see Him face to face. “Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.” Matthew 5:8
DNA or deoxyribonucleic acid is the hereditary material in humans and most living things. When Christ’s righteousness is reproduced in us and the righteous seed planted, then we will not sin, because He abides in us. Christ overcame the enemy; hence we should claim that victory by faith. Greater is He that is in us than He that is in the world. God has the ability to reproduce us in His image and likeness, both physically and spiritually. So the DNA of God in us is His righteous character. Amen.
