“They that sow in tears shall reap in joy. He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him. Psalm 126:5–6

Since the time that the International Missionary Society has existed in Myanmar, missionary work is progressing gradually. There are hopes for the future. In presenting the present truth, it has not penetrated into the hearts of the people right now, but it is not rejected.  People are preparing to accept the present truth. It arouses their curiosity. The church is stepping forward with prayer to empower the work.

The Lord’s work has been growing around the world and the present truth is penetrating into sincere hearts every day. I hope and pray that this article will be a blessing to the church life.  I would like to thank all the churches because I can share the work in Myanmar through this news.  Myanmar is a country with few members of the International Missionary Society, Seventh-day Adventist Church Reform Movement.

Recently, Brother Arnolfo Cortez (Asian Division Secretary) visited Myanmar. From May 3–12, 2015, together with brother Suan, they made a missionary trip to Matupi, the northern part of Myanmar. The journey is tough. They had to cross mountains and rivers. But the Lord blessed the trip. They were able to conduct Bible studies with 25–30 people each day. And the Lord also opened the way to have fellowship with other groups. They were able to baptize seven souls and have one acceptance. Even though the road was tough, they forgot their weariness because of this harvest.

They returned to Yangon on May 12, 2015. God produced a harvest of another five more souls here and on May 13, 2015, Brother Cortez baptized this group of believers. We praise God for this marvelous work and we would like to extend our words of thanks to our brethren who pray for us.
