To all our relatives and Friends
Warm greeting with Proverbs 25:25
” As cold water to a weary soul, so is good news from a far Country,” It is our hope that you are all in good health and pressing forward well both in
your daily endeavours and spiritual battle. Thank the Lord for us too we are fine.
It is wonderful to be together after a long time of separation and now the Lord has finally blessed…. It was a matter of waiting for the right time.
We are very delighted to write this to you though a bit late and we have the pleasure to inform you that we are already married. We had a civil ceremony on the 3rd of May and the Church Blessing on the 4th of May 2001 – which was on a Friday.
We missed you all on our day. It is unfortunate that we got married far from home but the Lord has a purpose for everything and we thank Him. The Chimba families who’ve beer like our parents in this country played a major role to our success and we thank them – especially Br Chimba, we are very much obliged. We write this to share with you our joy even though it is three weeks since we wed, bearing in mind the limitations we had i.e. time and Distance.
Nothing is as beautiful as seeing your long time sweetheart walk down the isle all adorned for you! We will treasure the memory!
We take this time to thank each and everyone of you who in one way or another made it possible for us to be together in England…either by word of advice, something encouraging spoken, a word of prayer, maybe ran an errand for us – took even greater part to at least boost our being together…from the bottom of our hearts, we are really grateful….the Lord bless you and of course when dealing with these issues sometimes we differ or cross one another’s lines, we sincerely apologise in case we did offend somebody.
Wishing you the very best and we will be in touch….so long, and God bless
George & Linnet
